The Phoenix travel west to the Jungle at RAC Arena to take on the Perth Wildcats.

Josh King’s side went 5-2 across their pre-season games as a new trio of imports joins the stacked local roster led by Nathan Sobey and Jordan Hunter once again for the season.

The Wildcats went 3-2 in their pre-season hit-outs, with two of their wins coming from a trip to Japan last week. John Rillie’s side just signed on point guard Brandon Knight, who has played over 450 games in the NBA, but will not be in the country for the first game.

Nathan Sobey will miss Saturday's game against Perth due to back tightness. He will be reassessed before Monday's game agianst Tasmania. Development player Pat Ryan will replace him.

The Phoenix will regain guard Daniel Foster after he missed the Blitz games and pre-season game against the Breakers due to a low-grade groin injury.

Wildcats

Perth will be without Jaron Rillie (calf) and Brandon Knight (unavailable - out of country) for Saturday's match-up.

It will be a battle to see who can get hot from the three-point line when the Phoenix take
on the Wildcats on Saturday night. For the Phoenix, it will be reigning Sixth Man of the Year Angus Glover, who has averaged 10 three-point attempts throughout the pre-season clashes. He will go up against fellow Boomer Elijah Pepper, who is known for his dead-eye three-point shooting.
