South East Melbourne Phoenix and Melbourne United are excited to announce that moving forward, all Throwdown games across NBL22 will be delivered by DoorDash.
The Throwdown games featuring the cross-town rivals have become a can’t-miss affair, as the two sides battle in the sporting capital of the world.

Melbourne United CEO, Nick Truelson, voiced his excitement ahead of the first game of the collaboration, Sunday’s Throwdown XIII.
“We are thrilled to announce that DoorDash have joined forces with Melbourne United and South East Melbourne Phoenix to become the naming rights partner of the Throwdown for NBL22,” he said.
“We encourage fans of both teams and across the league to download the DoorDash app and enjoy the incredible amount of variety that DoorDash provides millions of consumers across the globe everyday.”
These sentiments were echoed by South East Melbourne Phoenix CEO Tommy Greer.
“These are our biggest games every season, and to see DoorDash come on board shows the rivalry between us and United is growing and has captured the public's attention."
DoorDash General Manager, Rebecca Burrows, said; “Melbourne is home for us here at DoorDash Australia so we couldn’t help but get involved in the rivalry by throwing our support behind these wonderful teams.
“Basketball is seeing phenomenal growth across the country and we’re excited to connect with fans and prove that DoorDash is the premier delivery partner for every basketball occasion, on and off the court”.
