South East Melbourne Phoenix is launching a new community recognition program, CHAMPIONS OF THE HEARTLAND.
It has been a very tough year for all Victorians, from bushfires to COVID-19 and all the challenges in between.
Champions of the Heartland is our opportunity to use the Phoenix platform to show our gratitude towards others. The purpose is not a mass thank you campaign, rather a search to show appreciation for those who have helped get someone back on their feet.
To launch this program, we need your support!
We are seeking nominations from the Phoenix family to highlight someone in your own community network who you believe deserves a pat on the back for their endeavours.
The person can be from any background, any age, any walk of life – the only criteria is that they must have put those in their community before themselves.
Two people will be celebrated each month across the NBL21 season. Each successful nominee will receivea sponsor merchandise pack from Champion sports, a content piece on our social media channels, and a game night experience that highlights their cause to all our fans at John Cain Arena (Melbourne Arena).
