See below for how our Phoenix-rostered players are faring locally and internationally.
Angus Glover – Eltham Wildcats (NBL1 South)
27PTS, 4REBS, 7ASTS, 1STL vs Geelong United
Glover was instrumental in Eltham’s five-point win over Geelong in their elimination final on Saturday. After a late surge in the second-half of the season to make finals, the guard had a game-high 27 points, shooting 50 per cent from deep.
The Wildcats now take on Mt Gambier Pioneers in South Australia in the semi-finals as they continue their finals campaign.
Owen Foxwell – Eltham Wildcats (NBL1 South)
20PTS, 4REBS, 4ASTS, 2STLS vs Geelong United
Alongside Glover, Foxwell’s steady form continued in the first week of the finals, knocking down 20 points in the 86-81 win over Geelong.
Joe Wieskamp – Minnesota Timberwolves (NBA Summer League)
2PTS, 2REBS vs Philadelphia 76ers
3PTS vs Houston Rockets
13PTS, 3REBS vs Orlando Magic
The Phoenix’s newest import, Wieskamp, played with the Minnesota Timberwolves in a trio of games during the NBA Summer League. The shooting guard had his best game in Las Vegas in the final game against the Orlando Magic, recording 13 points, going 3/3 from deep, and three rebounds in 12 minutes of court time.
With the Timberwolves' Summer League campaign wrapped up, ending the series 4-1, Wieskamp will now travel to Melbourne for the start of the pre-season with the Phoenix.

Luke Rosendale – Ballarat Miners (NBL1 South)
14PTS, 2REBS, 1AST, 3STLS vs Frankston Blues
The Miners unfortunately went down 58-97 to the Frankston Blues in the qualifying final on Saturday night. The recently re-signed Rosendale had 14 points and three steals for the game, but it wasn't enough against a fiery Frankston.
Luckily, the Miners have a double chance after finishing in the top four on the ladder and taking on Dandenong Rangers at home for the semi-final.

Ben Ayre – Wellington Saints (NZNBL)
2PTS, 4REB, 1ASTS vs Franklin Bulls
After missing out on the final home and away game due to sickness, Ayre re-joined his off-season club in their preliminary final match against the Franklin Bulls. Unfortunately, the Bulls were too strong for Wellington as they went down 67-104, concluding their season.
Ayre averaged 18.9 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 6.2 assists in New Zealand. The point guard will now travel home to Melbourne to prepare for the Phoenix's NBL25 season.
Sam Mackinnon – Taranaki Airs (NZNBL)
Phoenix assistant coach Sam Mackinnon had a successful first season as the head coach for the New Zealand NBL team, the Taranaki Airs. Mackinnon took the Airs from seventh in 2023 to third and all the way to the semi-finals. Sadly, they were knocked out by the Canterbury Rams by one point in double overtime.
Mackinnon now re-joins the Phoenix coaching panel led by Mike Kelly as they look to have a successful NBL25 season.
