A locally owned and operated business, Sketti has been in operation since 2024, situated in the bustling Westfield Knox Ozone complex. With a menu based on the authentic Italian food – with a quirky twist – there's an item for everyone, with their experienced chefs able to cater to specific dietary requirements.
The Phoenix High Performance staff have worked with Sketti to support players preparation, performance and recovery aligned with their individual programs.
The entire Phoenix squad dined in the Knox restaurant throughout the pre-season with Nathan Sobey opting for a Gluten Free Linguine Gamberi, Jordan Hunter favouring a Vegan Margherita and Gorjok Gak creating a custom Dairy Free pizza.
South East Melbourne Phoenix CEO Simon Derrick thanked Sketti for their support of the team, members and broader community.
“Our foundations are built upon the Heartland. Continuing to develop relationships with organisations who are actively engaged in this community, like Phoenix, only deepens this connection for us all," Derrick said.
“We know basketball brings people together in this community. This partnership gives us a platform to showcase a local business, through basketball, but develop opportunities to engage our communities through our relationship.”
