American combo guard Xavier Munford joined South East Melbourne Phoenix's NBL22 squad on Wednesday.
The 29-year-old American brings worldwide experience, including NBA stints at Memphis and Milwaukee.
Twitter gave their thoughts...
SEM have had a good run with PG imports so far, but it seems this year they've finally been able to land someone closer to the mold of what they've been looking for, with a bit more size and length.

Sykes was great, but Munford could be their best one yet, esp. given the fit. https://t.co/hs0csn8YJL
Strong signing here by @tommygreer10, @SMitch_Phoenix and SEM. Munford’s skill-set should make him a high-level offensive weapon in the @NBL and his versatility will likely mesh well with the existing pieces in the Phoenix backcourt. https://t.co/3VDNc51m1L

Xavier Munford is a MONSTER pickup for the @SEMelbPhoenix and brings plenty of G-League and international experience with him. He's a great shooter inside and out and is very unselfish with his passing abilities. On the flipside, huge shame about Zach Hankins. #NBL22 https://t.co/JYM50xwY8s
