The Phoenix had a record-breaking season on many fronts, with Phoenix Media diving through the numbers to pick out those that have now set the benchmark.
100,000 – For the first time in seven seasons, the Phoenix welcomed more than 100,000 fans on game day. The largest crowd coming in our Sunday matchup with the Kings in February, with 10,175 packing the Fire Pit at John Cain Arena.
22 – The amount of regular season wins this season for the Phoenix, toppling the previous mark of 19 in the NBL20 season.
5 – Five straight wins for the Phoenix set the benchmark, beating the old record of four. Between beating the Hawks on October 18 and besting the JackJumpers on November 6, the Phoenix remained undefeated. That streak also included road wins in Queensland and Tasmania.
810 – The amount of points scored by Nathan Sobey in NBL26. Our co-captain was a scoring juggernaut in NBL26, beating the previous best of 650 points set by Mitch Creek in NBL23. He went at 22.5 points per game, and saved his best output of the season for Game 2 of the semi-final series with 41 points.

139 – John Brown III captured the offensive rebounds record with his intensity on the O-glass, reigning in 139 throughout NBL26 and beating the previous best of 123 by Ben Moore. His best single game output was 10, where he set a league record for the most offensive rebounds without registering a defensive one.
175 – Nathan Sobey not only piled on 810 points, but also a record-high 175 assists. He took the record off John Roberson, who dished 156 dimes in the NBL20 season. Sobey’s biggest game saw him register 10 assists against Cairns, in a game where he also posted 31 points.
78 – John Brown III now owns the steals record across three countries, with his 78 steals with the Phoenix this season obliterating the previous record of 52 by Cameron Gliddon in NBL21. Special mention also has to go to Nathan Sobey who claimed 62 in NBL26 to sit a clear second on the table.

5,671 – The Phoenix once again topped their previous best membership base mark – for the seventh-straight season. 5,671 people joined the Phoenix Family for a record-breaking season, with NBL27 memberships now on sale for the next campaign.
