Skylar Mays set for NBL27 with Phoenix

Mays arrives at the Phoenix after playing more than 100 NBA games across stints with the Atlanta Hawks, Portland Trail Blazers and Los Angeles Lakers. Most recently, he suited up for KK Budućnost in Montenegro, adding to his growing European resume after a stint in the Turkish league.

The 191cm guard is a graduate of Louisiana State University (LSU), where he established himself as one of the program's standout guards before beginning his professional career.

Phoenix General Manager of Basketball Operations Simon Mitchell said Mays would be a valuable addition to the roster being assembled for NBL27.

"He's a dynamic guard who can create his own shot, make plays for teammates, and defend multiple positions. Those qualities are invaluable in our league, and we're confident our fans will enjoy watching him compete every night.

"Skylar has competed against the best players in the world in both the NBA and Europe, and we're excited to see him bring that experience to the NBL."

The Phoenix now have one local and one import roster spot remaining ahead of the NBL27 season.
